After MHS, I went to ECSU for 4 years and graduated with a BA in English and Spanish. Then, I went to Sacred Heart for my Master's in education and certification for grades 7-12. I taught at Waterford High School for a year before moving to Clark Lane Middle School, where I've been teaching 7th grade language arts. It’s a really fun age to teach.

I met my husband, Steve, at Eastern, and we were married June 21, 2003. This March, we had a baby boy, Adam Mark, who is absolutely incredible. He is a sweet little guy, full of smiles, giggles, and personality, and he just fills our lives with happiness. I have been at home with him since he was born, but I will be going back to work at the start of the school year. I'm looking forward to seeing everybody in September!
